Pull Up a Seat at Emalia’s Table: A Celebration of 10 Years of Healing on Maui

This summer, you’re invited to take part in something truly meaningful—right from the comfort of your own home. Emalia’s Table, the annual fundraiser for Na Keiki O Emalia, is back and more exciting than ever as it celebrates an incredible 10-year milestone. From June 13 to 19, 2025, the online auction will raise vital funds to support grieving children and teens across Maui.

What began in 2015 as a mission to create a safe, compassionate space for children navigating the complex emotions of loss has now grown into a deeply rooted community program. Na Keiki O Emalia has helped hundreds of Maui’s keiki find comfort and connection after the death of someone in their lives. This year, as we honor a decade of healing, community, and hope, Emalia’s Table offers you a chance to be part of that legacy—and have a little fun along the way.

So, what exactly is Emalia’s Table? It’s not just an auction—it’s an experience. Inspired by the joy of gathering for a shared meal, Emalia’s Table features exclusive Maui dining experiences, unique adventures, and unforgettable getaways. Whether you’re bidding on a dinner at a top local restaurant, a luxurious island escape, or a one-of-a-kind experience, every item supports a cause that touches the hearts of families across the island.

And it’s not just about what you get—it’s about what you give. Every bid, every donation, and every act of generosity helps fund Na Keiki O Emalia’s peer-based grief support groups, which provide a lifeline to children and teens during some of the hardest moments of their lives. These groups, held both in schools and in the community, are facilitated by trained volunteers and create safe spaces where kids can express themselves, feel understood, and begin to heal.

Thanks to the success of past events like Emalia’s Table, the program has doubled its school-based support groups and distributed dozens of personalized grief care packages throughout Maui County over the past year alone. Currently, seven school-based groups are running, with more planned as community demand continues to grow.
