Play Imua invites toddlers aged 20 months to 3 years old and their parents or caregivers to create meaningful outdoor learning experiences.
Our program works on providing toddlers the social and emotional skills necessary to enter daycare or preschool environments and be best prepared for learning and play. Play Imua also provides support for families who are learning to understand how to best support their child’s development. The hour-long program starts at 10:00 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Imua Discovery Garden.
Play Imua utilizes the creative arts and nature-based learning to promote collaborative play and exploration for the whole ‘ohana.
Through songs, stories, garden discovery, and nature art, keiki and their families build both community and preschool readiness skills. Clinical services are also available to families to support the growth and development of their toddlers.

Play Imua is under the direction of Imua Inclusion Preschool’s Curriculum Coordinator, and is supported by Imua’s team of therapists and early childhood professionals.

The Education Director and Clinical Director provide oversight and support for families through parent workshops and counseling services.
