Dr. Bobbie Jo Moniz Tadeo has been a dedicated leader at Imua Family Services for 13 years, currently serving as the Clinical Director where she oversees the agency’s Early Intervention Program. With a deep commitment to enhancing the lives of children and families, Dr. Tadeo specializes in early childhood development and education, focusing on the critical importance of early intervention in fostering healthy growth and learning.
Dr. Tadeo holds a doctorate degree, and her extensive experience in clinical practice and program management has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the developmental needs of young children. She is a recipient of the Hawaii Maternal & Child Health Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities through the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, John A. Burns School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics. She is passionate about advocating for evidence-based practices that support children with developmental challenges, ensuring they receive the resources and support necessary to thrive. In addition, Dr. Tadeo also serves as an instructor and field supervisor for University of Hawaii where she specializes in early childhood education, general education and special education. She has been honored as a Professional of the Year for her dedication to family-professional partnerships and has been recognized in the community for the work she has done.
