Camp Discovery is a seasonal children’s camp for children K – 3 graders for fall, spring and summer breaks.
Kids can expect to make connections, create friendships, learn what outdoor play and nature offers, stay active, play games and explore our local culture and environment. With lots of special guests each day who teach us all the different ways we play.
Camp Discovery is held at the beautiful Will Smith Imua Discovery Garden, in the Historic Wailuku District
Camp will run Monday to Friday from 9AM – 3PM
Drop off is at 8:45AM Pick up starts at 2:30 PM
Provide your own lunch, snacks and hydration.
Children learn through play and with connection to each other and the world around them.
They must be given time to explore and to use their imaginations. This is what Camp Discovery is all about, and why being outside in grassy lawns, under the shade of the 120 year old Monkey Pods, beneath the blue sky is vital to our collective well being.

Camp Discovery is supported by our team of Early Childhood Educators and Professionals and executed by our Special Events Coordinators, along with Camp Counselors or Play Instructors.
The Imua Family Services team has been the leading provider in early childhood education and services for children for over 75 years, and has been running Camp Imua for over 47 years so yeah – we go this.

Registration for Camp Discovery is required, there is a fee to attend. Click on Button for Registration. Space is limited. We will work to balance the camp to create the best experience for the groups. Subsidies and assistance may be available in the application process.

There is an opportunity for upper high school students and college age students to get involved as Camp Counselors and Play Coaches. Reach out to explore these limited opportunities with Imua Family Services.
