We’re a non-profit proudly serving Maui, Molokai, and Lana’i, while connecting with communities around the world. We believe discovery and play are the heart that drive children’s success onwards; in fact, the word Imua in Hawaiian means to “move forward.”
Since 1947, our mission has been to provide quality care and community so that children of all abilities can live to their full potential. When we play with Imua, we create spaces for children and their families to discover, nurture, and share a lifelong love for learning.

Knowing little about Imua at the start of our journey; we couldn’t imagine what a magical part of our lives it would become and couldn’t believe the progress our child made.
