A Magical Night for Maui’s Keiki: Imua’s Holiday Festival Shines Bright!
On December 13th, 2024, Imua transformed the events lawn at Maui Arts and Cultural Center into a winter wonderland for the annual Imua Family Services Keiki Holiday Festival, and what a night it was! Children and families involved in Imua’s programs and services were the special guests – this year’s event marked 75 years of the memorable tradition.
The evening kicked off with live entertainment that had everyone swaying to the holiday spirit. Maui’s own reggae legend Marty Dread and DJ Boomshot kept the energy high with a festive mix of music that had the crowd singing and dancing under the stars.

Families were treated to a wide array of enchanting activities. Cirque Jolie amazed keiki with stilt walkers, balloon twisting, and colorful face painting, while Brenton Keith & His Bag O’Tricks dazzled audiences with his incredible magic. Meanwhile, the Maui Classic Cruisers added a touch of nostalgia with their holiday-themed classic car display, delighting guests of all ages.
Creative hands-on fun was in full swing at arts and crafts booths hosted by Maui Historical Society, Pacific Counseling Group Malama Na Keiki, Epic ‘Ohana, and Family Hui Hawaii. From crafting ornaments to playing festive games, there was something for every keiki to enjoy.

Of course, no holiday festival would be complete without a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus! They brought smiles and laughter as they posed for family photos and, with the help of the hardworking Imua staff, handed out Christmas gifts to every child in attendance. The gifts made possible through the generosity of our toy drive partners—TS Restaurants’ Duke’s Beach House, Leilani’s on the Beach, and Hula Grill, along with Swinerton Construction, KailAloha Supply, and Wailea Village—made the night even more magical.
Food trucks kept the crowd fueled with tasty treats, while the festive atmosphere, filled with twinkling lights, animal encounters, and holiday cheer, reminded everyone of the importance of community and connection during this special time of year.
Imua Family Services would like to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who made this event possible: our sponsors, volunteers, entertainers, community partners, and most importantly, the families who joined us to celebrate. The Imua Keiki Holiday Festival continues to be a shining example of the joy and unity that defines our Maui ‘ohana.
Mahalo to all who attended and supported this unforgettable evening. We can’t wait to see you next year for more holiday magic!
